PHOTO SHOOT & MORE

Aug. 6, 2010---Beautiful day to take pictures of Dream Manor with Cincinnati as a background. Dropped Allen off on Hooter's dock. I walked along the riverfront to get a variety of photos. After taking numerous pictures we tied up for the day at that dock. It is within easy walking distance of Newport on the Levee where there is plenty of activity.

Cincinnati Red's baseball park.

Paul Brown Stadium where the Bengals professional football team plays.

Geese lined up on a mission to travel downstream.

Cincinnati skyline.

Ride the Ducks----an amphibious vehicle used to provide a history trip on land and water. Everyone has a great time.

Maryann, Max and Keith are displaying their quackers.

Max and Mom (Steph) just before the duck ride.

A shot of Dream Manor at Hooter's dock as seen from the Purple People walking bridge.

Todd, Steph and Max enjoyed the Aquarium.

Plenty of birds, fish and other aquatic creatures.

Sharks

Alligators

We all got back together for dinner at Hofbrauhaus. This famous German restaurant serves great food. It is quite a place for folks to gather for plenty of their brews of choice.

This weekend is the annual Glier's Goettafest held on the riverfront just down the hill from the aquarium. Pronounced "get-uh" it is a German breakfast sausage. Robert Glier developed this sausage in the 1800's. Steel-cut, or pinhead oats are the secret ingredient in the sausage.
Max makes a mighty swing to ring the bell and pick out an alien as his prize.

Goettafest is a family affair with many activities for the children. From the size of the crowd at the Friday night opening of the festival it is a popular event.

As the sun was nearing the horizon we gathered on the Dream Manor. Untied from the Hooters dock and returned to the Manhatten Harbour marina about three miles upstream. It was a long fun day. The week has passed quickly as our guests had to get packed for an early departure in the morning.

The boat looks great!

Dream Manor is all over the back cover of the latest issue of Heartland Boating in a full page Gibson Ad.

I hope Gibson is paying you for all the publicity you have generated for them.
