VISITORS-Green Turtle Bay

Aug. 26, 2009---Quiet day at Green Turtle Bay Marina as we eagerly waited for guests to arrive. Maryann's Aunt Betty and Uncle Harold arrived about 4:00 p.m. Had a good visit and then Keith & Marryann went to dinner with them at Patti's in Grand Rivers. Maryann said they had a great time and certainly enjoyed being with them. She had not seen them in over thirty years.

While they were gone for dinner I waited for my Daughter Crystal and Son-In-Law Tom McCoy to arrive. My wife said the kids had left Youngsville, LA about 8:30 a.m. Nearly a 12 hour drive as they got here after 8:00 p.m. Just as the other folks returned from eating, the kids and I went to Patti's for a late dinner. Tom especially enjoyed the famous 2" pork chop. All the food was great.

Harold and Betty went to a motel as their plans called for an early rise and miles to make. They are on a rather tight vacation schedule.

After a detailed introduction to the "Dream Manor" Tom & Crystal nestled in for the night. They will be aboard for a few days.
