WHEELER STATE PARK

Nice reflection in Florence  Harbor Marina
July 14, 2012---Big day! Traveled 20.8 miles in 3.1 hours and went thru two locks. Wilson lock is awesome. It has a 93 foot lift. When the gates close it is like being in a large box. Makes Wheeler lock at mile 274.9 seem a little small with a 48 foot lift. Three other boats were in Wheeler lock made way to Wheeler State Park Marina at mile 277. Took on 300 gallons of diesel fuel before docking in front of the lodge. Enjoyed getting acquainted with other boaters in the marina.
Waiting on tow to move out of Wilson Lock
at mile 259.4 on Tennessee River

Huge gates closing on Wilson Lock

Docked in front of lodge at Wheeler State Park
