OLD CITY

July 8, 2009---Walked by a print shop named Yee-Haw and checked out the posters on display. Hopefully when you double click on these photos you will be able to read them (click the back arrow to return to the blog).

After this we walked around the area referred to as "Old City". There is a lot of reconstruction work in progress. Many of the old brick buildings are being turned into lofts. Maryann enjoyed the character in front of a pizza shop. There are a few stores operating with others in the planning. It looks like night spots may be the highlight. Patrick Sullivan's Saloon was founded in 1888. According to legend, Buffalo Bill Cody and members of Butch Cassidy's gang were among the early patrons.
