APPLE HILLS

Nov. 8, 2009---Traveled about 100 miles across Sacramento Valley to attend church in the town of El Dorado.

After a nice service it was fun to see Kimberly's home located in a subdivision called El Dorado Hills. The backyard is landscaped with colorful folage.

Kimberly is Marlys and Tabor's daughter. We had not seen her since she was about the age her own children are now. Her daughter lost a tooth as we visited.

The two story home is well surrounded with trees that provide seclusion for playing in the pool.

After a good time with Kimberly and Bob the afternoon was topped off with a drive to an area called Apple Hills. As the name suggests apples are grown in the area. Of course the apple pie was outstanding. There lots of folks enjoying the many booths with all sorts of merchandise on display.

A stocked fishing pond attracted lots
of attention. It was fun to watch kids catch trout.

Marlys checked out the big pumpkin.
