Aug. 9, 2013---Cloudy day, but very pleasant boating. No locks today! Just beautiful calm water. This part of the Tennessee River is called Kentucky Lake created by the Kentucky Dam located about 24 miles from the Ohio River. Tennessee River flows north into the Ohio River. Made 62.5 miles today in 6.6 hours. Arrived Pebble Isle Marina at 2:30 p.m. Clouds lifted and the evening was warm with lots of blue sky.
