July 30, 2013---Departed Columbus Marina at 9:30 a.m. Longer day as it took 8 hours to travel 59 miles. However there were four locks to contend with. Last lock was the Fulton. Following a tow we figured there would be a wait while it locked up. Lucked out as the lockmaster talked with the tow captain and he was agreeable to let us come into the lock and tie along side his tug. Worked out fine and gave us an opportunity to visit with the tug captain. Lockmaster had us leave the lock ahead of the tow. We thanked them as it saved us a lot of time. Arrived at Midway Marina about 5:30 p.m.
