ERRANDS

Aug. 1, 2009---Rented a car to run errands. Went to a laundry mat and got all the clothes washed, dried & folded. Re-stocked on groceries in preparation for visitors. Back at the boat got everything put away before the rain started. There was a band setting up in the park to play for a couple hours. About 2 songs into their set the rain came down so hard it was necessary to stow the instruments. The temporary shelter was not adequate to protect all the electronics. Rain continued and the small crowd drifted away. Band members loaded out their equipment and the park was vacated. Our guests arrived by vehicle during the rain. Carol & Allen’s son, Clint, Grandson Christopher Kelly, and friend Ty Henderson arrived from Youngsville, Louisiana about 8:00 p.m. it is great to have them aboard.
