Aug. 6, 2012---Smooth traveling until a rain storm built up about where the TomBigBee intersects the Tennessee River. It did not look pleasant 5 miles ahead and water started to get rough, so a stop at Coleman State Park Marina at mile 449.7 seemed like a great idea. It is a well protected area with large hills on three sides. A 20 minute wait was all that was necessary as the front passed quickly. Continued to mile 215.2 on the Tennessee River which equals mile 450.7 on the TomBigBee Waterway. Turned to port. Mileage will count down from there as the route is now southerly. Went past Grand Harbor Marina and continued to Aqua Yacht Harbor. Total miles today 43.5 in 5.2 hours. This is a return since the Dream Manor was here almost a month ago on July 8th. This harbor is about a mile off Lake Pickwick in Yellow Creek.
