Sept. 11, 2009---Spent the day making preparations to leave Gallatin in the morning. Washed the boat as spiders have been a real problem all week. Their mess is the most difficult to clean.
BB did a good job of keeping the Great Blue Heron off the upper decks and the bright colored flotation device tied across the stern kept the feathered character off the swim platform.
Maryann is really enjoying the new pantry!
Planned the stops necessary to go up the Cumberland River to the end of the navigational channel at mile 381 and back to here in one week. The round trip from here is about 288 miles. Notified the Cordell Hull lock that we would be there at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. They require at least 24 hour notice.
