10/5/08---Scott Bachman with Wahoo Marine (Gibson Boat Sales), organized an afternoon of boating. Of course his wife, Margaret probably did most of the work! Fellow boater (Mike Vessell) offered the use of his boat to show all the new seating that he had just finished putting on the flybridge. There were 18 adults and 3 children aboard his 50' Gibson with plenty of room to spare. Everyone contributed food and drinks so there was lots of nourishment. It was a wonderful afternoon as we cruised the Mississippi River. The trees are just begining to change colors. I missed my wife, Carol. She flew to Las Vegas last Friday to spend time with her mother and brother. They actually live in Henderson but with all the growth in the area it has become a suburb of Las Vegas.
