July 9, 2010---Went to the Western Kentucky Botanical Garden in Owensboro, KY not far from the marina. It is a self guided walking tour through the gardens. Lots of flowers, trees and shrubs.
After lunch the Owensboro Museum of Fine Art was on the agenda. Pictures are not allowed due to potential damage to the art from flash. Also to maintain security and value. There are really great works of art on display. We certainly enjoyed our time here.
One of our readers questioned why we are still in Owensboro. One of the mcgees has been a little curious about that also! In the morning we are finally going to travel further up the Ohio River. Will anchor somewhere tomorrow night.
