Sunday was very windy with gusts up to 40 MPH. As a result of the unpleasnt weather we just spent the day on the boat. The river crested that night. The picture showing mostly water is to protray the rip rap barrier is nearly covered.
Monday was pleasnt, so time was spent viewing the statue of Robert Waldow. He was the world's tallest man. At a height of 8'11" and weighing 490 lbs he had to have been an awesome sight. Maryann looks a bit small when sitting in the chair that was special made for Robert. A divided cement bench in front of the museum proved a time of comfort for Maryann and Carol. Wednesday was spent doing the laundry. There is a good facility on the Marina for the boaters. It is much faster with the larger machines than what we have on the boat.
